- Focus on CPT – critical productivity time
- Turn new email notifications off
- Use rules to organize your email
- Resort to “traditional” methods of communication
- Use newer methods of communication
- Be less formal
- Read the email, then reply
- Use search tools
- Don’t be emotional
- Set aside time each day or 1 day each week to organize your email
