We are ramping up here for a new Advertising campaign. We will be doing a Mid February through end of June Ad Campaign for a new service offering by Citrix Online called GotoAssist Express.

Message from Todd Cochrane CEO of RawVoice

Over the next 3–4 weeks or so I will be in 5–6 cities and I will be meeting with podcasters, media buyers, fans of his show and podcasters associated with Blubrry, Tech Podcasts and Podcaster News

During my month on the road, I will be meeting with a variety of people and getting them up to speed on the merits of investing in the podcasting space either through corporate involvement or advertising in new media shows and meeting with as many of you as possible

First Stop will be the Greater Dallas Area. 28-31 January the day time schedule is pretty full but If you have something going on in the evening I would love to meet-up.

The Second stop will be the greater Indianapolis area  1-10 Feb  where I will be the longest. The team at RawVoice will be meeting their for our semi-annual lock the doors and planning meeting the weekend of the 9-10th. If you are in the greater Indianapolis area we would love to meet-up prior to the meeting or the week prior.

Third Stop will be the Greater Washington DC area 11-18 Feb to include all surrounding areas the last weekend he will be in Norfolk VA.

The fourth and final stop on this trip will be in Albuquerque New Mexico from 18-21 Feb

At all of these locations I look forward to meeting up with podcasters that are working with RawVoice and those that listen to my show let me know if you are available and we will pick a location to meet up.

RawVoice CIO Angelo Mandato has been elected to lead the Association for Downloadable Media “Measurement” Committee. The team here at Tech Podcast know the value of good podcast statistics as Tech Podcast in early 2005 was the first network to put together media advertising buys that had independent validations of podcast statistics that were reported to media buyers.

We have worked hard over the past 3 years to always have podcast statistics that advertisers and media producers can trust, and we could not be happier that Angelo is leading the “Measurement” committee we feel that Angelo is well positioned to lead the committee in helping to solidify podcast measurement standards. I have received a couple of emails from podcasters using our stats service. Sadly our attempt to communicate with some of you has resulted in you not getting notices from us even though we have sent three separate mailings.

If you are using the Tech Podcast New Media Stats service we want to make you aware of a change to the stats redirect format. The change is a simple one but critical in that we found some media players primarily Windows Media Player and the Zune Marketplace player do not handle our old redirect format.

If you are still using the old style redirect please change to the new style immediately.

The fix is dropping the second “http://” this will fix any issues your listeners may have! 

The program profile pages have been redesigned on the Tech Podcast Network  The new design is in response to the feedback we’ve received from the community.  The new design focuses on usability.

The RawVoice team will be sharing information about the Tech Podcast Network at the 2007 Podcast and New Media Expo this week. The team will be at Booth #315 and we hope that you will stop by the booth and say hello.

We will also have a hospitality suite at the Marriott that will be open each evening and we invite you to stop by and say hello.

As a side note RawVoice CEO Todd Cochrane will be speaking at the Podcast and New Media Expo as well. He will be on the Making Money with Sponsorships and Advertising Session to be held on Saturday Sept 29th at Ballroom C from 3:15 to 4:15.

The Tech Podcasts New Media Stats system powered by the RawVoice Statistics Engine has been made available to all members of the Tech Podcast Network.

The price of using the service is free with the completion and keeping up to date the Advertising Survey on the website. We will ask podcasters to verify their advertising survey data every 90 days.

Otherwise the New media Survey system is free to use to all Tech Podcast Network Members. The team here looks forward to everyones suggestions to Phase II enhancements to the Podcast Statistics System

On Friday we announced to the entire Tech Podcast Network the roll-out of our new and improved pre-advertising qualification survey. We have already seen a great number of you go in and complete the new survey.

Based on information we learned while meeting with National Media buyers we will be able to close the loop on information that is needed to properly represent your shows.

In the next few weeks we will be introducing a listener based survey that once combined with the data we have received from you via the advertising survey, and the new media statistics data that we are able to analyze we will be able to answer any question thrown at us about any show in the entire Tech Podcast Network family.

We are not going to horde this information. The best part is all of this data collection will tie into a new service we will provide back to those of you that belong to one of our communities.

We believe in giving you added value tools you can use, and we feel the end product that we provide you through the RawVoice Exchange system will be unlike what is available today through any other new media community.

We have finalized the load testing on the RawVoice Statistics system, and we will be opening up the stats to all podcasters here at the Tech Podcast Network within the next couple of days. Details will follow via normal private channels

Thus far the reviews have been outstanding, and we look forward to letting the whole community have access to our Podcast and New Media Statistics system.
