Adrian Bacon was a certified computer geek at a very early age when
he bought a bunch of “computer junk” and made a working Intel 8088
based computer replete with a 10 megabyte MFM hard drive, which thus
kicked off a never ending stream of computer hardware upgrades (which
is still going on to this day). He fell in love with computer
technology and spent many an hour playing around with the Basic
programming language. As he got closer and closer to entering the job
market, his interests and skills expanded to more programming in
languages like C, and C++, among whatever else interested him. While in
college, the commercial internet as we know it hit the scene, and
Adrian immediately took to it like a duck takes to water and expanded
his repertoire to include many things web based.
Adrian also
has a love of all things Digital Audio and Video (this is where
podcasting comes in), and has always had a fascination for movie and
picture technology as well as blogging, model rocketry, electronics,
aeronatics, information architecture, databases, operating systems,
encryption technology, compression technology, prime numbers, music,
cars, and much, much more. In addition to that, throughout the years,
Adrian has played the Piano, Clarinet, Baritone, Trombone, and
currently meddles in Percussion.
Currently Adrian lives in
Phoenix, Arizona (he’s a Phoenix native in case you were wondering),
and works full time as a web database developer/administrator for a
large hotel chain in addition to managing Linux Log, Microsoft Log, Apple Log, and their respective podcasts.
When not at work or sleeping, you can usually find Adrian working on one of his websites, or writing in his blog, or watching a movie or TV (go Replay TV!), or working on some progamming project (like his prime number generator).
